Champa Muong Lao
O douang Champa, when I love you, I’m delighted
Of thousand thoughts, by your perfume which invades me,
I see flowers of my daddy, planted before,
When I am sad, you relieve me of nostalgias,
My dear Champa, alter ego of my childhood.
Your well fragrant, stay in my heart, merit to kept
Event of trouble, I cherished you for all the time,
When I hug you, you recall me my ex lover,
You’re pretty, lovely flower of eternity
My dear Champa, set of flowers of my love song.
O Douang Champa, flowers Muong Lao, beautiful stars,
Xao-Lao are proud to be children, son of Lan Xang,
If I should leave my homeland or be banished,
I would take you, for evermore, like a friend,
My dear Champa, life insignia of my country.
